Tarilian Laser Technologies (TLT), a medical engineering and science company, needed a reliable way to secure outsourced app development for its biosensor device while avoiding delays in clinical studies and regulatory certification. OpenText implemented a flexible security scanning process in which IntelliQA uploaded the code and OpenText security professionals delivered rapid assessments and detailed vulnerability reports within hours. The result was faster remediation, security clearance in just a couple of days, and a process that TLT now uses for all applications. TLT estimates the solution cost 150 times less than a static tool and will help fast-track regulatory approval, saving significant time and money.
