Fortify increases warfighters’ competitive advantage by shifting security left into the DevSecOps application lifecycle

The United States Air Force faced the challenge of delivering software rapidly and securely across the Department of Defense while avoiding duplicated effort, inconsistent security practices, and slow deployment cycles. To address this, the USAF partnered with OpenText, using Fortify as part of its Platform One DevSecOps initiative to help build a centralized, secure software factory.

OpenText’s Fortify was integrated into the development cycle to scan code early, automate security testing, and support hardened container-based pipelines on Platform One and Iron Bank. The result was faster application releases, stronger cybersecurity, and scalable, interoperable development across DoD teams, with software launches moving from months to days and multiple releases per day possible.
