A OpenText Case Study
Dobeles dzirnavnieks needed a secure, flexible way to replace paper-based processes and make information easier to access across its back-office operations. Working with OpenText content management, the company set out to digitize workflows, improve integration with business systems, and support its 120 back-office employees in finding information faster.
OpenText helped Dobeles dzirnavnieks centralize contracts, correspondence, invoices, and other records in one system, enabling digital operations that kept work moving even during COVID-19 disruptions. The results included saving 3.5 FTEs in accounts payable, avoiding major headcount increases as the business grows, cutting paper consumption by 80%, reducing paper-related costs by about €2,000 a year, and making 73% of supplier contracts, 88% of correspondence, and 100% of quality management documents digital.
