Filhet-Allard, a French insurance group operating B2B, B2B2C and B2C businesses, needed to speed up delivery of a redesigned Cleva ERP to support increasingly complex insurance products. The IT team’s challenge was to shorten deployment lead times by automating installation, configuration and virtual machine provisioning so the business could use new capabilities quickly.

They implemented Micro Focus Cloud Service Automation and Operations Orchestration to automate end-to-end provisioning, integrating 12–15 technical services (Oracle, Citrix NetScaler, Puppet, Universal CMDB, vCenter, backup/supervision). Using 20 reusable building blocks and 200 orchestration flows, Filhet-Allard cut full ERP environment deployment from days or weeks to about 1 hour 30 minutes, consolidated multiple consoles into a single portal, reduced errors, and is deploying multiple environments and other platforms on time and on budget.
