FDM Document Dynamics, an Italian provider of outsourced document creation, archiving and destruction services, faced an overly complex and slow authentication solution for its online portal. User provisioning and removal required changes across three environments, there was no built‑in password management, and the IT team wanted to simplify access while meeting stricter client security and compliance requirements.

Working with Omnitech, FDM deployed NetIQ Access Manager and Identity Manager to provide single sign‑on, automated provisioning/deprovisioning, built‑in password management, federation for partner access, and full login auditing. The new solution made the portal faster and easier for some 60,000 users, reduced routine IT administration, and strengthened security and compliance.
