Evans & Dixon Relies on OpenText eDOCS to Scale and Grow Operations

Evans & Dixon is a full‑service law firm based in St. Louis that doubled in size through growth and acquisitions, expanding from three to six offices and growing its document collection into the millions. The firm was hampered by aging servers and software: slow, unreliable searches, frequent crashes, security gaps, unmanaged email and numerous document duplicates threatened productivity and client service.

Working with OpenText partners, Evans & Dixon deployed OpenText eDOCS DM with Guardian, Wireless DMS and Email Filing to create a centralized, SQL‑based document repository that integrates with ProLaw and other systems. The result: near‑instant searches, stronger security and audit trails, mobile access, streamlined sharing and fewer duplicates — supporting about 185 users and a library now exceeding 2.5 million documents while improving attorney productivity and client service.
