Ensuring reliable communications with citizens across the Rhineland and preparing for e-government innovation with OpenText™ Exstream™

LVR-InfoKom, the IT service provider for Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR), needed a dependable centralized way to manage high-volume public-sector communications. Its challenge was reliably converting XML into printable formats at scale while supporting about 1.5 million letters a year, many of them complex mailings for citizens across North Rhine-Westphalia.

LVR-InfoKom implemented OpenText to support output management and template-driven document production. With OpenText, the organization can reliably render more than 20,000 pages for individual mailings and deliver 1.5 million letters on time each year, improving reliability and efficiency while also laying the groundwork for future e-government and digital delivery channels.
