Case Study: PwC Denmark improves security compliance and productivity with OpenText NetIQ Identity and Access Management

A OpenText Case Study

Preview of the PwC Case Study

Economies of scale give Danish municipalities access to state-of-the-art NetIQ Identity and Access Management solutions for improved security compliance

PwC Denmark, working with Danish municipalities, faced the challenge of creating a common identity and access management framework for many under-resourced local governments that needed to connect to up to 30 national systems while protecting sensitive citizen data. Using OpenText’s NetIQ Identity and Access Management solutions, PwC helped municipalities avoid building their own costly, complex systems.

OpenText implemented a shared framework using NetIQ Identity Manager, Access Manager, Identity Governance, and File Governance to automate provisioning, simplify single sign-on, and improve access reviews and compliance. The results included faster integrations, streamlined audits, stronger security transparency, and major productivity gains, including about 400 hours saved per year in user provisioning for one municipality, 50% less time for audit reporting, and up to 42,000 person-hours saved annually for a large municipality.
