A OpenText Case Study
Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG) is a Dubai‑headquartered, family‑owned conglomerate with 27 companies, more than 3,000 employees and operations across the Middle East and beyond. With roughly 20,000 active customers and heavy reliance on SAP, the group faced fragmented content silos, paper‑based manual processes and slow, error‑prone supplier invoice handling (about 82,000 invoices annually), which hurt responsiveness, customer service and staff productivity.
ESAG implemented OpenText Extended ECM for SAP and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, rolled out group‑wide and integrated with SAP ECC. The solution automated around 60% of invoices, reduced invoice processing time by 35–40%, eliminated many manual errors, created a single enterprise content system for faster access and auditability, and improved customer service and legal case management—benefiting about 250 daily users and freeing staff for higher‑value work.
