du deployed Micro Focus ArcSight ESM as the core of its SOC to collect, correlate and report security data in real time, building custom connectors and over 550 use cases/rules to analyze ~30,000 EPS from 1,500 sources. The implementation cut alarm rates by 85% (from >7,000 to <1,000 alerts/month), shortened average alert handling from 24 hours to under 90 minutes, enabled detection of 82% of compromise attempts within 24 hours, and significantly reduced security costs while enabling managed SOC services.
