Missouri State Courts needed to modernize an aging backup environment and move away from physical tapes to better protect growing volumes of court data. Working with OpenText, the court used Data Protection and HPE StoreOnce Backup to create a more resilient backup and disaster recovery setup for case management data, documents, emails, and working files.

OpenText implemented a unified backup and replication solution with two mirrored HPE StoreOnce systems, one in Jefferson City and one at a disaster recovery site, and had it up and running in three days. The results included a seven-fold reduction in backup storage, restore times cut from hours to minutes, and backup management resources reduced by half, with daily operations now handled by just one person.
