CTTI streamlines testing with Micro Focus® Quality Center and delivers better services for citizens

CTTI, the Catalonian government’s IT center, manages a complex portfolio of some 1,800 applications across 11 domains with eight different providers and conducts about 500 tests a month. Under strong cost and quality pressures, CTTI needed central visibility, consistent testing processes and better collaboration to reduce maintenance overhead and deliver reliable services to citizens.

CTTI implemented an integrated Micro Focus solution—Quality Center, Performance Center on SaaS, Unified Functional Testing and Fortify—to consolidate testing across suppliers and enable risk‑based decisions. The platform has increased transparency and developer feedback, begun automating tests (from 1% toward a planned 25%), reduced the number of fixes and maintenance time, and is helping deliver more resilient, cost‑effective citizen services.
