Court of Appeals of Georgia - Customer Case Study

The Court of Appeals of Georgia needed a secure way to modernize its new e-filing system while managing complex, role-based access for attorneys and court staff. Working with OpenText, the court used Access Manager and eDirectory to control authentication, validate identities, and provide single sign-on across internal and external websites.

OpenText implemented a context-based, ultra-secure access solution that lets attorneys register, log in remotely, and view or file documents anytime, while ensuring users only see what they are authorized to access. The result was major gains in efficiency and cost savings by eliminating paper handling and courthouse travel, along with stronger security, easier administration, and positive feedback strong enough for the court to adopt the system as a standard process.
