The University of Kansas Health System needed a more reliable way to handle critical fax communications and reduce the burden on IT. Using OpenText RightFax Connect, the health system moved to a hybrid-cloud fax solution to improve delivery of patient care information, referrals, and operational reports.
OpenText implemented RightFax Connect to modernize fax infrastructure, eliminate dependence on analog lines, and support secure cloud-based faxing. The results were strong: transmission success rose to almost 100%, fax transmission errors were eliminated, and IT maintenance workloads dropped by around 90%, freeing teams from constant troubleshooting and improving resilience for mission-critical communications.
