A OpenText Case Study
Certified Management Accountants of Ontario (CMA Ontario), a self‑governing professional body with about 25,000 members, needed to manage rapid organizational growth while protecting sensitive member records. The organization faced rising volumes of paper and electronic documents, siloed information, version‑control issues, and a need for secure, centralized access to improve cross‑department collaboration and member service.
CMA Ontario deployed OpenText Content Server to migrate roughly 300,000 documents (about 1.5 million pages), convert historical microfilm, and begin automating workflows with plans to integrate the system with core membership, financial and performance applications. The solution established a single, secure repository with controlled access, improved information retrieval and collaboration, and faster responsiveness to member inquiries; staff adoption is underway and the organization is exploring additional OpenText tools for digital assets, web and learning management and mobile access.
