Telekom Srbija, a major Serbian telecom with millions of mobile and fixed customers, faced a stalled cloud services business due to paper forms, manual processes and legacy back-end systems. Customers could not order or manage cloud services online and often waited up to two days for basic provisioning, slowing growth and creating a poor user experience.
Using Micro Focus Hybrid Cloud Management (cloud service automation and operations orchestration) and Data Center Automation, Telekom Srbija launched a self‑care cloud marketplace that automates provisioning and integrates backend systems. The marketplace delivers one‑click ordering and immediate self‑management, cutting VM activation from two days to about 20 minutes, increasing active cloud instances by 290% (and BizMail by 316%), and reducing IT provisioning workload so administrators can focus on upgrades and innovation.
