A OpenText Case Study
China CITIC Bank International (CNCBI), a Hong Kong–based full-service commercial bank with 34 local branches and offices overseas, faced a paper‑intensive, time‑consuming archiving and compliance challenge. The bank needed a single, secure repository to centralize computer‑generated reports and statements, meet strict retention, encryption and timestamping requirements across multiple systems, and give staff fast, auditable access to records to support customer service.
CNCBI worked with OpenText Professional Services and partner ASL to deploy OpenText InfoArchive and Brava!, creating a centralized, immutable archive with customized user interfaces for different departments. The solution streamlined operations, reduced storage and production-system load, enforced built‑in compliance and an auditable chain of custody, and improved customer service — ingesting about 2,000 files daily and holding over 400,000 archived files to date.
