Cherrylabs wanted to grow its customer base and revenues by launching a cloud-enabled disaster recovery offering

Cherrylabs needed a flexible, cost-efficient disaster recovery solution that was easy to manage and could support both its internal DR needs and a cloud-based service for customers. After evaluating three vendors, the company chose OpenText’s PlateSpin Migrate, which could protect physical and virtual platforms and support testing and failover flexibility.

OpenText implemented PlateSpin Migrate to enable fast test failover, hardware-independent failback, and zero-data-loss recovery. The solution significantly reduced Cherrylabs’ RTO and RPO, helped launch its cloud-based Cherrylabs Business Recovery Service, and created a new revenue stream that contributed to a 17% increase in net income.
