Canadian Government Agency - Customer Case Study

A Canadian government agency with more than 300 BlackBerry devices relied on BlackBerry Enterprise Server for mobile security but found BES EMM logs unusable for compliance or investigative needs. The agency needed a way to archive, access, search and perform eDiscovery on mobile communications (SMS, MMS, BBM, PIN and call logs).

The agency implemented Micro Focus Retain Mobile, which integrates with BlackBerry Enterprise Service to capture and archive all mobile logs into a single, compliant, searchable and discoverable repository. As a result, messages and call records can be viewed in context for auditing, discovery and regulatory compliance, closing the gap left by BES logging alone.
