A OpenText Case Study
Caesars Entertainment Corporation, a leading global operator of casinos, hotels, and resorts, needed to speed delivery of web applications on caesars.com while standardizing QA across its business. A three-week testing backlog and disparate testing practices threatened launches for critical systems such as lodging, casino operations, offers, banking, and time-and-attendance.
Working with Check Point and Micro Focus, Caesars migrated to Application Lifecycle Management and adopted Unified Functional Testing and LoadRunner to automate and scale testing. The move cut average test time from 6.5 minutes to 2 minutes, eliminated the three-week queue, supported 500+ simultaneous projects, standardized QA for 68,000 employees, enabled hosting of many site applications, and freed IT from manual testing—accelerating time-to-market and reducing costs.
