A OpenText Case Study
Raven Industries needed a better way to capture and track requirements across an agile development and testing cycle, since information was scattered across email, chat, documents, and shared drives. The company also wanted an easy-to-use, low-maintenance solution that would help improve collaboration and support test case reuse across hardware and software products. OpenText products Atlas and Silk Central were used to address these needs.
OpenText implemented Atlas to centralize requirements capture, prioritization, and tracking, and Silk Central to connect those requirements to test case automation and testing workflows. The result was stronger collaboration between development and test teams, earlier testing in the development cycle, faster bug resolution, and higher product quality. Raven also reduced testing time by creating customized test plans in minutes and reusing test cases across products with about 90% common functionality.
