Case Study: BDO Israel achieves stronger cyber threat detection and response with OpenText

BDO Israel expanded its cyber security capabilities by acquiring SECOZ and launching a new Cyber Security Center to deliver managed detection and response services. To support this growth and address the rising threat of cyber crime, BDO Israel chose OpenText’s ArcSight SIEM platform, including Micro Focus ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) and ArcSight Data Platform, to serve clients in Israel and globally.

OpenText helped BDO Israel build a flexible, multi-tenant MDR solution on AWS that could ingest threat intelligence, correlate events, and automate custom detection scenarios. The result was a dramatic reduction in false positives—up to tenfold in some cases—while processing around 30 million log lines per day for a 1,000-user client and generating fewer than 10 alerts daily, helping clients avoid hundreds of thousands of dollars in capital खर्चs compared with building in-house security operations.
