ArcSight supports next generation SOC to reduce incident response time and improve threat detection

DNeX Technology needed a scalable way to run its mission-critical SOC, manage growing volumes of security logs, and provide customers with near real-time visibility while keeping data segregated and compliant. Using OpenText ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM), DNeX built a lean security organization that could detect threats automatically and support a wide range of customer environments.

OpenText implemented ArcSight ESM as a hosted SIEM platform in DNeX’s datacenter, using SmartConnectors and FlexConnectors to ingest and correlate diverse log sources. The solution filtered out 80% of incoming events as noise, accelerated incident response, and helped DNeX complete a government project requiring 22 FlexConnectors in two weeks instead of four. It also reduced the cost of 24x7 security operations by up to half in a hybrid service model.
