Kuwait Finance House needed stronger breach defense, full infrastructure visibility, and easier compliance reporting across its security operations. After evaluating the market, it selected OpenText’s ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) with Logger, plus community content from the ArcSight Marketplace and Activate framework, to improve real-time threat monitoring and response.

OpenText implemented the ArcSight-driven SIEM in two months with local partner support, including a resilient datacenter cluster and disaster recovery site. The solution gave KFH 100% infrastructure coverage, faster threat prioritization, and streamlined reporting; the bank also reduced event volume to about 3,000 events per second through filtering and aggregation, while strengthening compliance and helping minimize fraud.
