Archdiocese of Munich and Freising uses OpenText™ NetIQ™ Identity Manager to gain a powerful identity-powered security and collaboration environment

The Archdiocese of Munich and Freising needed to modernize and streamline its identity and user administration processes, which had relied on slow, manual workflows and paper forms. Working with OpenText and partner IS4IT, the diocese implemented OpenText Identity Manager to handle a highly diverse user landscape across systems such as HR, collaboration tools, travel expense management, VPN management, and file servers.

OpenText helped redesign and automate provisioning and other user management workflows, standardize identity lifecycles, and improve data quality across systems. As a result, account requests that once took several days are now processed in about 15 minutes, manual work has been reduced, and access control is more structured and secure, with orphaned accounts detected and blocked more quickly.
