A OpenText Case Study
AmeriPride Services is a 125‑year‑old uniform rental and linen supplier with 115 production and service centers serving nearly 150,000 customers weekly. To support growth and unify disparate business segments, the company needed to centralize and integrate diverse, often unstructured data—its legacy data warehouse hindered access, aggregation and the cultural and process changes required for better customer service and operational alignment.
AmeriPride implemented the Vertica Analytics Platform with Tableau and Informatica, proving performance gains (some processes dropped from 36 hours to 17 minutes) and a scalable, cost‑effective licensing model. The platform now powers 15–20+ data touchpoints, mobile tools for field staff, improved route optimization, safety and environmental gains, stronger labor and machine performance, and more data‑driven decisions—while the company continues to expand analytics with RFID, telematics and live production feeds.
