ALM Octane and OpenText™ team up to deliver data-driven insights into application testing effort for digital transformation project

World Wide Technology (WWT) needed a way to manage a large, complex testing program with more than 1,300 test cases, thousands of requirements, and an 800-user team spread across locations and time zones. Working with OpenText, WWT used OpenText Unified Functional Testing, LoadRunner, StormRunner Load, and ALM Octane to better coordinate hand-offs, track testing activity, and keep defects linked to requirements.

OpenText helped WWT organize tests into suites, improve transparency across teams, and streamline administration with single sign-on and flexible user management. The solution also supported more advanced reporting and analytics by combining ServiceNow data with ALM Octane and Vertica (now OpenText), giving WWT real-time visibility into metrics like defects, coverage, and velocity.
