Akbank orchestrates harmonious data center operations in IT Symphony project

Akbank needed to improve IT efficiency and achieve full compliance across a complex, heterogeneous infrastructure, so it turned to OpenText Data Center Automation with Server Automation and Operations Orchestration for project Symphony. The bank’s IT team wanted to reduce time spent on manual processes and standardize operations across systems from multiple vendors.

OpenText helped Akbank create a central automation team that mapped manual IT tasks into standardized workflows for provisioning, patching, compliance, and reporting. Completed in eight months, the project saved an average of 5,000 human hours per week in 2019 and 15,000 per week during COVID-19 remote working periods in 2020, while also eliminating manual errors and making compliance controls and reports easier to run.
