adMarketplace needed to process massive volumes of advertising data in near real time to support its highly granular search advertising platform, Advertiser 3D. With millions of keyword, device, and location combinations changing in milliseconds, the company required a data analytics and storage solution that could handle extremely low latency requirements. OpenText, through Vertica, was chosen to support this Big Data workload.

OpenText enabled adMarketplace to load nearly 2 TB of data per hour into its analytics engine and power real-time dashboards, optimization, and reporting. The platform now lets account managers make bid changes that take effect within two minutes, something static BI systems could not do.
