A OpenText Case Study
Aargauische Gebaeudeversicherungs-anstalt (AGVA) is a Swiss building insurer founded in 1805 that manages assessments and claims for about 207,000 properties with 70 staff. Its processes relied on a complex IT landscape (SAP, Alice inventory, Open Text archiving, and Exchange) and needed to link content and processes, support offline field work, reduce errors, and improve process efficiency and customer service.
AGVA implemented Open Text’s Livelink ECM–BPM solution (with Outlook integration, SAP connectivity and offline capability), capturing forms centrally and delivering them to employees ahead of customer visits. Field staff enter validated data on laptops, synchronize when online, and trigger downstream tasks (billing, policy updates); the result was faster, more accurate processing, higher productivity, cost savings and improved customer satisfaction, with field teams able to handle more assessments and claims.
