Paladion helps organizations detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats, especially where breaches can damage brand reputation and operations. To do this at scale, Paladion uses OpenText security products including ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM), ArcSight Activate, ArcSight User Behavior Analytics, and Fortify to monitor customer systems and identify suspicious activity quickly.

OpenText’s ArcSight ESM enabled Paladion to collect and analyze massive volumes of log data, automate threat alerts, and deploy custom detection rules across customers. The results included improved visibility for more than 100 organizations, around 40 monthly breach alerts from 9,000 events per second for one retailer, prevention of a $200,000 fraud loss at a bank, and rapid response to WannaCry that limited impact to just one compromised computer. Paladion also estimates customer security costs are about 70% lower than building equivalent in-house defenses.
