Coles Group evaluated several enterprise content management options before choosing OpenText, mainly for its easy integration with SAP SuccessFactors and its ability to digitize HR processes like employment contract generation. The retailer wanted to improve onboarding for seasonal workers, reduce manual administration, and strengthen regulatory compliance.

Using OpenText Content Management for SAP SuccessFactors, Coles automated contract creation with digital templates, business rules, and data from SAP SuccessFactors, while candidates completed onboarding through a secure portal and signed contracts via DocuSign. The result was a fully paperless process with better control over document storage and access, reduced manual work, and improved compliance; OpenText Managed Services and Professional Services also helped Coles move the solution to Google Cloud Platform to increase availability and accelerate disaster recovery.
