WWF Japan to Use "Actuate" Data Analysis to Improve Supporter Satisfaction

WWF Japan, the country office of the global environmental NGO with just over 40 staff and more than 37,000 individual supporters, faced a mission‑critical challenge: an aging Supporter Information Management System that produced errors, lacked basic calculation and reporting functions, and made supporter administration slow and costly—hindering fundraising efficiency and supporter satisfaction.

Working with ProBindS, WWF Japan redeveloped SIMS around the Actuate 7 web reporting platform (iServer, eReport, eReportDesigner and Query Option) in a phased rollout. Actuate enabled user‑driven, flexible web reports, automated invoicing and payment imports, and online card handling; early gains include streamlined payment and mail‑out workflows, faster reporting and decision making, and an expected increase in supporter satisfaction and fundraising capacity.
