United States Navy saves almost a terabyte and boosts mission readiness with OpenText Analytics

The United States Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) faced a significant challenge in maintaining the operational readiness of its complex fleet of ships and submarines. The OpenText solution connected these disparate data sources, providing engineers with unified, secure access to the right information. This ensured assets were mission-ready and unlocked new AI capabilities with OpenText Knowledge Discovery and OpenText Content Aviator for predictive maintenance and improved operational efficiency. The implementation by OpenText and its partners significantly enhanced the Navy's ability to service its fleet, with one proof of concept saving nearly a terabyte of storage through improved data de-duplication.
