A OpenText Analytics Case Study
The South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service faced a challenge after receiving a "Weak" rating in its 2005 Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA). Needing to streamline data collection and improve strategic decision-making, the organization sought a robust performance management solution. They turned to the vendor, OpenText Analytics (Actuate), and its Performancesoft Suite to help implement a fresh approach.
OpenText Analytics implemented its Performancesoft Views and Performancesoft Track applications to collect, analyze, and automate performance data. This solution raised the profile of performance management and embedded a new culture of data-driven decision-making across the service. As a direct result of this technology-supported initiative, the service's Audit Commission Direction of Travel Assessment improved to "Improving well," tangibly validating the program's success.
