Program and Financial Management Software Solution Provider Empowers Government Clients with Embedded Reporting

Integrated Data Services (IDS) is a veteran‑owned small business that builds and integrates enterprise IT solutions for government clients, primarily the DoD. While re‑architecting its CCaR™ program and financial management application, IDS needed embedded, secure reporting and analytics that could reach multiple data sources, give end users real‑time access and visualization, and reduce the burden of ad hoc report requests on IT.

IDS embedded Actuate BIRT into CCaR to provide interactive design, ad hoc reporting and multi‑tenant, role‑based data access. The deployment supports roughly 13,000 user accounts (about 1,100 active Actuate users), more than 5,700 reports, and real‑time visibility for DoD acquisition staff—resulting in increased transparency, faster time to market, fewer IT report requests, and more empowered, self‑service data use across the enterprise.
