Mizuho Implements Actuate Enterprise Reporting Solution to Streamline Asset Management Application

Mizuho Trust & Banking, a Tokyo-based specialist in pension trust, custody, stock transfer and securitization services, needed to modernize its asset management reporting. Until the change, it printed and mailed monthly statements to 4,000 customers and delivered limited information via an extranet, a process that was complex, costly and lacked interactivity and scalability.

Mizuho implemented Actuate’s enterprise reporting solution, integrating it with back-end databases and Hitachi’s Cosminexus Java applications to convert data into secure web-based reports. The new system delivers daily, interactive and exportable reports (trade status, balances, pension performance), streamlines report generation, reduces costs, improves operations and customer service, and provides a platform ready for future expansion.
