Lancashire County Council delivers on Corporate Strategy and the Local Area Agreement using the Actuate Performancesoft Suite

Lancashire County Council, the fourth largest local authority in England and Wales serving 1.15 million people, needed to replace an inflexible management information system to better execute, record and report its Corporate Strategy and the complex Local Area Agreement. The council required an easy-to-use, scalable performance management solution that would work from strategic to operational levels, be accessible to members, directors, service managers and partner organisations, and support its service improvement and transformation agenda.

Lancashire selected Actuate Performancesoft Views, consolidating strategic and operational performance data and introducing briefing books, email alerts and strategy maps published on the intranet and internet. The solution increased visibility and awareness across the council and its 25+ partners, improved management information and decision-making, and provided scalable, transparent monitoring and reporting for the LAA and corporate objectives.
