Regional Water Authority’s People-First Training Approach

The Regional Water Authority faced the challenge of delivering relevant, inclusive training to a diverse workforce while managing time constraints, knowledge transfer, and succession planning. Working with OpenSesame and its curated content library, the organization needed to support both office and field employees with flexible learning that went beyond compliance.

OpenSesame helped Regional Water Authority build role-based learning plans, add hybrid and asynchronous training options, and use courses for pre-work, reinforcement, and on-demand refreshers. The results included a 91% course completion rate, an average learner rating of 4.75 out of 5, 9.71 enrollments per learner, and an internal service excellence score that rose from 72% to 76%, surpassing its 75% goal.
