Case Study: Greenpeace streamlines IT requests with OpenProject

A OpenProject Case Study

Preview of the Greenpeace Case Study

The innovative IT team of Greenpeace is using OpenProject to channel all incoming requests and turn them into tasks or projects

Greenpeace, the international environmental organization, needed a flexible way to channel a high volume of incoming IT requests and turn them into actionable work while maintaining strong data security. Using OpenProject, the team adapted the platform to fit its internal processes and on-premises requirements.

OpenProject implemented a customized ticketing workflow that converts email requests into tasks, projects, or new projects, with support for work packages, backlogs, agile boards, and time tracking. As a result, Greenpeace standardized processes across the organization, improved visibility and collaboration in a flat structure, and gained secure on-premises hosting with LDAP single sign-on.
