Case Study: UNSW College achieves 87% offer success with OpenLearning's UniFastTrack Transition Program Online

UNSW College, a pathway education provider for international students, faced significant challenges due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. They needed to quickly create a fully online version of their Transition Program without compromising the quality of their socially constructive learning pedagogy. To combat these issues of accessibility and engagement, they partnered with vendor OpenLearning to develop the UniFastTrack Transition Program Online (TPO).

OpenLearning collaborated with UNSW College to develop a 16-week intensive online program built on a social constructivist learning design to foster community and meaningful interactions. The solution was highly successful, with 87% of the July 2021 graduates receiving an offer to UNSW. The program also generated high engagement, averaging 15 comments per learner in one course, and attracted over 100 enrollees in 2021.
