Vade Secure Strengthens its Application Ecosystem Backend with OpenIO SDS

Vade Secure, a global email security provider for ISPs, OEMs, hosting companies, and enterprises, needed a stronger backend for its growing application ecosystem. The company had to store and manage massive volumes of email data with high scalability, multitenancy, uptime, and flexibility across both on-premises and cloud deployments.

To meet these needs, Vade Secure implemented OpenIO SDS from OpenIO as its object storage backend, using both native and S3 APIs. OpenIO helped simplify operations, improve resiliency, availability, and data protection, and enabled rapid expansions without service disruption; Vade Secure said it scaled twice in a few months and had new resources available in minutes, while also supporting 150 TB of storage and protection for 500 million emails across 3 cloud sites.
