Velcom, part of Telekom Austria Group, is a Belarusian mobile operator with a 46% market share and nearly 5 million subscribers. To address bill shock and improve the subscriber experience, Velcom turned to Openet for support, using the Openet Policy Manager solution.

Openet implemented Policy Manager to help Velcom enforce data caps with notifications, introduce service passes of different durations, and offer data services with varying QoS levels for loyalty programs. The result was better real-time visibility for domestic and roaming data usage, improved subscriber experience, increased data usage and revenues, and a more differentiated portfolio for Velcom.
