Orange Poland, part of the Orange group, needed to deliver consistently high-quality mobile services while controlling costs and managing network congestion across a large subscriber base. To address this challenge, Orange worked with Openet using Policy Manager and Evolved Charging.
Openet implemented fair usage controls, tiered subscription passes with higher QoS, device-based QoS rules, and session-level policy management tied to balance status and service usage. As a result, Orange Poland could offer more segmented premium services, improve perceived value for subscribers willing to pay more, and better manage network resources to maintain high-quality data services across its customer base.
