To address these challenges, the company worked with Openet and Kapsch CarrierCom using Openet’s Policy Manager solution.

Openet deployed its Policy Manager across Telekom Austria Group operators in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Belarus, Serbia, and Slovenia to enable customer security during mobile data use, bill shock controls, and faster rollout of existing use cases. The result was a more flexible and secure policy and billing environment for approximately 19 million subscribers, helping Telekom Austria Group deliver enriched and innovative services with a better overall customer experience.
