Sri Lanka Telecom, a leading ICT provider in Sri Lanka with more than 6 million customers, wanted to increase broadband adoption and usage while protecting network investment and improving return on investment. To address this challenge, Openet provided Policy Manager and Evolved Charging capabilities to support flexible, usage-based broadband products and control service delivery.
Openet implemented speed- and volume-tiered offers, real-time quota management, flexible add-ons such as data and bandwidth boosts, fair usage policies, and policy management for VoLTE calls. As a result, Sri Lanka Telecom was able to offer more attractive broadband packages across consumer and enterprise segments, give customers better spend control and flexibility, and support high-quality telecom services with wider coverage.
