International School of London, Qatar used OpenApply to manage a rapidly growing admissions process after applicant numbers surged from 60 to more than 800 in a year. Head of Admissions Nivin El Aawar was “drowning in paper,” manually tracking applicants with color-coded files and entering data into three separate databases, which made the workflow slow and error-prone.

OpenApply helped ISL Qatar go paperless, centralise admissions data, and streamline communication with parents, document collection, fee payments, and re-enrolment. By March 2014, the school was managing over 1,400 applications with less paper, fewer mistakes, and more accurate data, while also improving the experience for parents. OpenApply was later rolled out across other International School of London campuses, supporting 3,000+ annual applications with common forms, analytics, and real-time payment tracking.
