International School of Central Switzerland (ISOCS) in Cham, Switzerland, was looking for a better way to manage admissions after noticing that many interested local and international families were touring the school but not completing applications. The school felt the amount of paperwork involved was discouraging families, so it turned to OpenApply, a web-based admissions system, to make the process more accessible and appealing.

OpenApply was implemented in March 2014 for all incoming applications, and ISOCS also moved existing student data into the system and gave parents access to update records online. The result was a more streamlined, paperless admissions process with less reliance on file cabinets and printing, easier internal and external communication, better visibility into application status and demographics, and reduced risk of errors in student information. OpenApply also helped the school reduce paper use for quarterly statistical reporting in Switzerland.
