Open Windows Delivers Streamlined Processes, Improves Financial Controls and Reduces Risk for City of Yarra

City of Yarra, a local government municipality in Victoria, was relying on paper-based, manual procurement and contract processes that created inefficiencies, limited visibility, and made it difficult to plan workloads, manage risks, or access key contract and financial information. The council needed a streamlined system to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and gain better control over contract and category spend, using Open Windows’ Modular Procurement Suite.

Open Windows implemented a centralized procurement and contract management solution for City of Yarra, including modules for Processes, Contracts, SRM, Sourcing, Budgets, and Compliance, plus integrations with Finance One and HP Content Manager. As a result, City of Yarra improved workflow consistency, visibility, compliance, financial reporting, and controls across approximately 505 contracts and $520 million in committed expenditure for 250 users, while reducing administrative workload and procurement lead times.
