Bluescope Implements the Srm Portal to Manage Contractor Company Pre-qualification Accross Australian and New Zealand Sites

BlueScope, a global steel manufacturer operating across Australia and New Zealand, needed a better way to manage contractor company pre-qualification. Using Open Windows and its SRM Portal, BlueScope sought to replace inconsistent site-level practices, hard-copy questionnaires, and unclear accountability with a centralized, standardized process.

Open Windows implemented the SRM Portal and Questionnaires functionality to let contractors self-register and complete online pre-qualification forms, with workflow approvals from relevant stakeholders. The result was faster onboarding of contractor companies, improved governance and reporting, standardized practices across Australia and New Zealand, and greater visibility into approval status; BlueScope now has more than 300 contractors pre-qualified through the system.
